On July 21st, around 80 members of the Tucson community came out to St. Phillips Plaza to attend an Arizona Primary Election watch party.
Our Arizona State Director Paul Parisi, along with several Hometown Hero volunteers, attended the event and took the opportunity to recruit Hometown Heroes.. A giant projection screen was set up to display live results so viewers could stay up to date about what was happening on the ground.

We were able to recruit several new Hometown Heroes and all who attended had a great time as they enjoyed food, drinks, and conversation.
Civic engagement is a core value of the Our America Foundation, and events like this help create a real sense of community and understanding among attendees.
