AZ Activists Strengthen Connections with Peer Organizations

Freedom of Thought

July 23, 2026

OAF’s Arizona activists have been incredibly active throughout July, as they’ve strengthened connections with peers groups and members of the broader community.

On July 16th, our State Director Paul Paris attended the monthly meeting hosted by the AZ Liberty Network. OAF is one of 40 coalition partners of the Network, and the meeting was attended by many other like-minded organizations active in Arizona.

Many of the leaders present groups that OAF has collaborated with in the past, including co-hosting events and dinners with us. This was a highly productive meeting, and  a great way to strengthen established relationships and build new ones.

Our activists also recently attended a meeting of the Southern Arizona Conservative Association, where we interacted with the more than 40 individuals in attendance and recruited several new Hometown Heroes.

We also attended a monthly meeting hosted by Legislative District 18, with the goal of rallying precinct committeemen. We hosted a table with our Hometown Hero volunteers and once again were able to recruit several more people to our cause among the 80 individuals in attendance.

Below are some photos of our activists and recruits at these events!

These gatherings provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing communities in Arizona, and identify areas where we can work together more effectively. By strengthening these connections, OAF continues to expand its network of trusted partners, grow the ranks of its Hometown Heroes, and increase its ability to support grassroots efforts across the state.
