Our activists in Georgia co-hosted a highly successful training event with the Leadership Institute and Vorpal Media this past weekend, with nearly 30 attendees learning how to take their activism to the next level in their communities.
The training covered a variety of topics including voter outreach, tactics for engaging with minority and youth voters, public speaking, and on-camera training.
The training provided meaningful, practical knowledge that equipped participants with the tools necessary to become more effective communicators and community leaders in a constantly evolving political climate.

The training was led by several subject matter experts, including our National Director Gabriel Nadales, Carlos Cardenas of LI, and Charles and Nikkie Bice-Bey of Vorpal Media.
After the training, attendees received certificates and gifts for completing the curriculum. Many stated they left feeling more confident in their activism, and were motivated to put their new skills to the test.
We’re excited to host more events like this in Georgia as we continue to grow our base of activists and make an impact in the Peach State.
