Georgia Hometown Hero and Community Social Services Director Yolanda Johnson recently hosted a community meeting at East Point City Hall.
Our America Foundation (OAF) State Director Carli Eli was there to attend, along with a large, diverse, and enthusiastic crowd. A wide variety of individuals from the Atlanta metro area attended this event, from local business and community leaders to government officials and non-profit representatives.
Check out some photos of Carli and attendees below!

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to make a positive difference in the lives of East Point families. The focus was on affordable housing and entrepreneurship, and the role that businesses, nonprofits, and community and religious institutions can play in that process. There was also a broader discussion about access to healthcare, and the rising cost of living.
Together, we can continue turning meaningful conversations into substantive action, strengthen our communities, and build partnerships that have a lasting impact. OAF looks forward to continuing to work alongside local leaders to organize more events like this in the future.
