Our Nevada State Director Logan Gifford recently spoke at Canyon Springs High School on behalf of the Our America Foundation (OAF) as part of their 7th Annual Alumni Day celebrations.
Based in North Las Vegas, Canyon Springs is a Title I school and home to the Law and Leadership Preparatory Academy, a star program that focuses on law, military, and global leadership.
Approximately 30% of the student body is African American, and it was an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about OAF to a young, diverse group of students.
Logan delivered a speech about our efforts to unite all Americans around our shared values and the importance of community engagement.

Students were highly engaged with Logan’s speech and were interested in the important work OAF is doing in the state. We even had five students express an interest in becoming OAF interns!
This was an important event, and we look forward to bringing our message to new audiences and expanding our presence in Nevada.
