Here at the Our America Foundation (OAF), we always stress that safer streets start with community involvement. That’s why on October 2nd, Arizona State Director Paul Parisi joined the Tucson Police Department at a “Faith in Blue” event.
The event was held at the Tucson Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (PRCA) K-12 South Campus. PRCA is a very diverse school, with a focus on immersing students in both English and Spanish throughout their education.
The Tucson police showed up with all sorts of cool vehicles and gear, and the students were thrilled to check them out. The SWAT team arrived with police cruisers, armored trucks, and even a helicopter. Check out some photos of all the fun had below:
OAF is proud to support our police and help with efforts to find new ways to make connections between our officers and the communities they serve.
