On September 14th, the Our America Foundation hosted the “2-Minute Floor,” a civic activist training event designed to improve attendees’ public speaking skills.
The event was focused on delivering the knowledge, skills, and tactics behind crafting an effective two-minute public comment to a crowd of enthusiastic attendees.
The training was led by National Director Gabriel Nadales and Pennsylvania State Director Gabriella Mendez. After lecturing the crowd on the foundations of speaking at a legislative hearing, members of the audience engaged in a session where they delivered their own public speech.
